Every drop counts

Water conservation is something we all play a part in, and we’re committed to protecting local watercourses, wetlands, and catchment areas while cutting our own use. With a goal to reduce office water consumption by 4% by December 2025, we’ve introduced efficient fixtures, staff awareness initiatives, LED lighting, renewable energy, and better‑managed heating. Together, these steps support long‑term care for our local environment and promote responsible water use across our operations.

Protecting nature & culture

We are committed to safeguarding sensitive habitats and ecosystems, reducing our environmental impact, and protecting the natural links between protected areas. We also work to preserve archaeological, cultural, and sacred sites and reduce disruption to wildlife. Supporting pollinator‑friendly projects, encouraging wildlife‑conscious practices, and helping to protect native species all form part of our efforts to restore and strengthen local ecosystems.

Driving resource efficiency & circular practices

Abbey is committed to cutting waste and improving recycling across our offices and our wider network of clients, suppliers, and partners. We know the biggest impact comes from working together. That’s why we focus on reducing, reusing, and recycling materials, sorting waste effectively, and promoting circular practices wherever possible. Our ambitions include phasing out single‑use plastics and significantly reducing our reliance on paper.
